| CONTROL — Longitudinal Therapeutically Non-interventional Study of MSRV-Env Burden in Normal PopulationThis study intends to explore the levels of MSRV expression by analyzing the levels of MSRV transcripts in blood, as well as the levels of the MSRV-Env protein in serum in the normal population. This study is important for establishing a baseline to analyze results obtained in MS patients (another dedicated study is performed in parallel in MS patients). The study will be conducted over one year in a cohort of healthy subjects. The MSRV RNA level, MSRV-Env protein levels, reverse transcriptase activity, inflammatory markers assessed by cytokines levels will be analysed to define control levels in the normal population and their variation during one year. The data obtained in this study in healthy controls will be compared to those obtained in a parallel similar study, GN-E-002, conducted in different types of MS patients. | SEP | À vérifier | Immunomodulation | France | À vérifier |
| GNbAC1The monoclonal antibody GNbAC1 targets the envelope protein (Env) of the human endogenous Multiple Sclerosis associated RetroVirus (MSRV), which could play a critical role in different autoimmune disorders, notably type 1 diabetes (T1D). This study is a multicentre study evaluating for the first time the safety and efficacy of GNbAC1 in T1D subjects for a first bouble-blind period of 20 weeks followed by an optional open-label period of 24 weeks. The primary objective of the study is to assess the safety and tolerability of six consecutive 4-weekly doses of GNbAC1 in subjects with T1D. Secondary objectives are to determine the pharmacodynamic response to GNbAC1 on biomarkers of T1D. | SEP | Phase 1 | Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, … | À vérifier | |
| LOMBARD — Longitudinal Therapeutically Non-interventional Study of MSRV-Env Burden in Patients With Multiple Sclerosis DiseaseThis study intends to explore evolution of MSRV expression by analyzing the levels of MSRV transcripts in blood, as well as the levels of the MSRV-Env protein in serum of MS patients. The study will be conducted over one year in four cohorts of patients with different forms of MS (remitting-relapsing MS i.e. RRMS, primary-progressive MS i.e. PPMS and secondary-progressive MS i.e. SPMS) and in clinically isolated syndrome (CIS) patients who have suffered a single clinical event but do not comply with diagnosis criteria for definite MS. The MSRV RNA and MSRV-Env protein levels will be correlated with the clinical evolution of patients and with the reverse transcriptase activity, inflammatory markers assessed by cytokines levels. A control group of healthy subjects will be included (the study, GN-E-003, is performed in parallel and is part of another dedicated protocol). | SEP | À vérifier | Immunomodulation | France, Spain, Switzerland | À vérifier |

| Temelimab 18 mg/kgThis Phase II study is a monocenter, long-term extension study of study GNC-401 and will start after individual completion of Week 48 of the GNC-401 study. At entry, all patients will receive active treatment with temelimab. The patients of the placebo group in study GNC-401 will be re-randomized to temelimab 18 mg/kg, 36 mg/kg or 54 mg/kg (1:1:1), while the patients who received temelimab in study GNC-401 will continue with the same dose in study GNC-402. Following final analysis of the results of the GNC-401 study, the Sponsor may switch all patients to an optimal dose of temelimab based on safety and efficacy demonstrated in the GNC-401 study. | SEP | Phase 2 | À vérifier | Sweden | À vérifier |
| temelimab 36 mg/kgRandomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase IIa clinical study, assessing safety, tolerability, pharmacodynamic effects and pharmacokinetics of temelimab, administered at three different dose levels (18 mg/kg or 36 mg/kg or 54 mg/kg). In this study temelimab is administered subsequently to rituximab therapy, i.e. no co-administration of rituximab and temelimab is done in this study. | SEP | Phase 2 | À vérifier | Sweden | À vérifier |
