| An Evaluation of the Implementation of the Care and Monitoring at Home Program- A New Paradigm for Acute Care Management of Cancer PatientsTo understand the experience of patients receiving care in the Care and Monitoring at Home program at MD Anderson. Researchers intend to use this information to study and possibly improve the hospital care at home program. | Cancer | À vérifier | À vérifier | United States | À vérifier |
| AzacitidineThis phase II trial studies how well enasidenib and azacitidine work in treating patients with IDH2 gene mutation and acute myeloid leukemia that has come back (recurrent) or does not respond to treatment (refractory). Enasidenib and azacitidine may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. | Cancer | Phase 2 | À vérifier | United States | À vérifier |
| Bintrafusp AlfaThis phase I trial is to find out the best dose, possible benefits, and/or side effects of hypofractionated radiation therapy and bintrafusp alfa in treating patients with bile duct cancer that has spread to other places in the body (advanced intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma). Hypofractionated radiation therapy delivers higher doses of radiation therapy over a shorter period of time and may kill more tumor cells and have fewer side effects. Immunotherapy with bintrafusp alfa, a bifunctional fusion protein composed of the monoclonal antibody avelumab and TGF-beta, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. The combination of hypofractionated radiation therapy and bintrafusp alfa may help to control intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma. | Cancer | Phase 1 | United States | À vérifier | |
| BronchoscopyThis trial studies how well radial-probe endobronchial ultrasound works in detecting the complete or partial collapse of the lung in patients undergoing peripheral bronchoscopy. Diagnostic procedures, such as radial-probe endobronchial ultrasound and bronchoscopy, use a thin, tube-like instrument inserted through the nose or mouth to view and take pictures of the inside of the trachea, air passages, and lungs. | Cancer | À vérifier | À vérifier | United States | À vérifier |
| CetuximabThe purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of pembrolizumab plus epacadostat, pembrolizumab monotherapy, and the EXTREME regimen (cetuximab + cisplatin or carboplatin + 5-fluorouracil) as first-line treatment for recurrent or metastatic head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). | Cancer, Parkinson | Phase 1 | À vérifier | United States | À vérifier |
| CytarabineSelinexor has shown single-agent activity in a current phase I study enrolling patients with relapsed/refractory AML with durable complete remissions (CR), complete remissions with incomplete hematologic recovery (CRi), partial remissions (PR), and stable disease (SD) observed. Furthermore, common toxicities included nausea, fatigue, and anorexia and were manageable with supportive care agents. Additionally, CLAG chemotherapy has proven activity in relapsed and refractory AML, and has been shown to be a relatively well tolerated regimen without significant non-hematologic toxicity. Given the established role of CLAG chemotherapy, the single agent activity of selinexor, and their non-overlapping toxicities, the investigators propose a phase I/II open label study of selinexor in combination with CLAG for the treatment of patients with relapsed/refractory AML. | Cancer, Myasthénie | Phase 1/2 | Traitement symptomatique | United States | À vérifier |
| Development of Brief Positive Affect Treatment (PAT) for Caregivers of Patients With Advanced CancerTo learn more about the experience and wellbeing of people who provide care for cancer patients. | Cancer | À vérifier | À vérifier | United States | À vérifier |
| DiscussionThis clinical trial evaluates the feasibility of exercise during chemotherapy in older women with stage I-III breast cancer. Previous studies have reported that exercise may reduce the chemotherapy-toxicity risk. This trial may help researchers learn if engaging in a physical activity program is feasible in patients receiving chemotherapy for breast cancer. | Cancer | Non applicable | À vérifier | United States | À vérifier |
| Enasidenib MesylateThis phase II trial studies how well enasidenib and azacitidine work in treating patients with IDH2 gene mutation and acute myeloid leukemia that has come back (recurrent) or does not respond to treatment (refractory). Enasidenib and azacitidine may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. | Cancer | Phase 2 | À vérifier | United States | À vérifier |
| EncorafenibThe purpose of this study is to learn about the effects of three study medicines (encorafenib, binimetinib, and pembrolizumab) given together for the treatment of melanoma that: * is advanced or metastatic (spread to other parts of the body); * has a certain type of abnormal gene called "BRAF"; and * has not received prior treatment. All participants in this study will receive pembrolizumab at the study clinic once every 3 weeks as an intravenous (IV) infusion (given directly into a vein). In addition, half of the participants will take encorafenib and binimetinib orally (by mouth) at home every day. Participants may receive pembrolizumab for up to two years. Those participants taking encorafenib and binimetinib can continue until their melanoma is no longer responding. The study team will monitor how each participant is doing with the study treatment during regular visits at the study clinic. | Cancer | Phase 1 | À vérifier | United States | À vérifier |
| endorectal coiMultiparametric MRI (mpMRI) of the prostate is an important tool for diagnosis of clinically significant prostate cancer (csPCa) in men with an elevated serum prostate specific antigen, which can decrease the rate of unnecessary biopsies and reduce the incidence of over-diagnosis of non-csPCa. Furthermore, there is evidence that MRI is more accurate in detecting high-grade (Gleason grade group ≥3) versus low grade cancers (Gleason grade group \<2) and therefore may serve as a useful adjunct to prostate-specific antigen (PSA) testing, digital rectal examination, and prostatic biopsy to detect cancers that require definitive treatment as opposed to active surveillance. Many investigators, including our group, have shown the utility of preoperative mpMRI to assess the local extent of prostate cancer and for surgical planning. | Cancer | Non applicable | À vérifier | United States | À vérifier |
| Evaluation of Hereditary Cancer Educational VideosTo learn if educational videos can help participants be more informed about hereditary cancers (ones that run in the family). | Cancer | À vérifier | À vérifier | United States | À vérifier |
| Expressive Writing for the Management of Stress in Cancer SurvivorsThis clinical trial evaluates the effect of expressive writing for the management of stress in cancer survivors. Cancer diagnosis and treatment are associated with increased stress in cancer survivors related to concerns about family, career, relationships, finances, side effects of treatment, and death. This stress can be further exacerbated by social upheavals such as the COVID-19 pandemic. For safety reasons, many patients are isolated with restricted access to in-person health care and reduced social interaction with family and friends. Together with the economic uncertainties that come with this pandemic, these factors are likely to increase cancer survivors' stress levels. Expressive writing may provide a medium through which cancer survivors confront stressors and find meaning in their experience. The goal of this trial is to learn more about the experiences of cancer survivors during stressful times. | Cancer | Non applicable | À vérifier | United States | À vérifier |
| Feasibility of Combined Genomics/Transcriptomics for Patients With LymphomaTo learn more about the usefulness of molecular testing with the Molecular Functional (MF) Portrait (a commercial test conducted by the sponsor of this study, BostonGene) in guiding lymphoma care. | Cancer | Non applicable | À vérifier | United States | À vérifier |
| FilgrastimThis phase Ib/II trial studies the best dose and side effects of venetoclax and how well it works when given with combination chemotherapy in treating patients with newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia or acute myeloid leukemia that has come back or does not respond to treatment. Venetoclax may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as fludarabine, cytarabine, filgrastim and idarubicin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving venetoclax together with combination chemotherapy may work better in treating patients with acute myeloid leukemia. | Cancer | Phase 1/2 | À vérifier | United States | À vérifier |

| Hyperpolarized 13-C-pyruvateTo learn if Hyperpolarized C-Pyruvate Magnetic Resonance (HP-MR) Spectroscopic Imaging can help doctors detect low-risk (benign) and high-risk (malignant) cysts. | Cancer | Phase 1 | À vérifier | United States | À vérifier |
| Hypofractionated Radiation TherapyThis phase I/II trial studies the safety, side effects and best dose of M3814 and to see how well it works when given together with radiation therapy in treating patients with pancreatic cancer that has spread to nearby tissue or lymph nodes (locally advanced). M3814 may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Hypofractionated radiation therapy delivers higher doses of radiation therapy over a shorter period of time and may kill more tumor cells and have fewer side effects. Giving M3814 and hypofractionated radiation therapy together may be safe, tolerable and/or more effective than radiation therapy alone in treating patients with locally advanced pancreatic cancer. | Cancer | Phase 1 | À vérifier | United States | À vérifier |
| IdarubicinThis phase Ib/II trial studies the best dose and side effects of venetoclax and how well it works when given with combination chemotherapy in treating patients with newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia or acute myeloid leukemia that has come back or does not respond to treatment. | Longitudinal Evaluation of Women Undergoing Pelvic Surgery for the Treatment of Gynecologic CancerThe study investigates whether certain characteristics of gynecological cancer can help researchers predict how well a patient recovers from surgery to remove the lower colon, rectum, and bladder, and create openings through which urine and stool are passed out of the body (pelvic exenteration). Comparing the types of surgery completed and procedures used may help researchers to determine which are most effective and safe in patients with a history of gynecologic cancer. | Cancer | À vérifier | Traitement symptomatique | United States | À vérifier |
| Oral CladribineThe goal of Part 1 of this clinical research study is to find the highest tolerable dose of cladribine that can be given in combination with low dose cytarabine (LDAC) and venetoclax to patients who have AML. The goal of Part 2 of this clinical research study is to learn if the dose of cladribine found in Part 1, when combined with LDAC and venetoclax, can help to control the disease. | Cancer | Phase 1/2 | À vérifier | United States | À vérifier |
| PegfilgrastimThis phase Ib/II trial studies the best dose and side effects of venetoclax and how well it works when given with combination chemotherapy in treating patients with newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia or acute myeloid leukemia that has come back or does not respond to treatment.
