Intermittent theta burst stimulationAlzheimer's disease (AD) is a progressive neurodegenerative condition affecting 6.2 million individuals in the United States, resulting in an annual cost of care of $305 billion. AD is functionally characterized by progressive degeneration of large-scale brain networks (LSBNs), including the default mode network (DMN) presumably from the deposition of amyloid plaques and neurofibrillary tangles. Available FDA-approved medications for AD such as donepezil and memantine offer limited benefit and modest impact on quality of life. In combination with resting state functional MRI (rs-fMRI), transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) with intermittent theta burst stimulation (iTBS) offers a non-invasive alternative to pharmacotherapy in persons with AD. We propose a pilot trial using rs-fMRI to target dysfunctional LSBNs in early stage AD. Alzheimer, Myopathies, Parkinson Non applicable À vérifier China À vérifier
NervioX-2400The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate the immediate effects of individualized 130 Hz STN-tTIS(Subthalamic Nucleus - transcranial Temporal Interference Stimulation)on motor symptoms in early-to-mid-stage PD patients during both medication "on" and "off" states. The main questions it aims to answer are: 1. Does the therapeutic effect of STN - tTIS relate to medication? 2. The degree of improvement in motor symptoms of Parkinson's disease patients after STN - tTIS therapy under different medication conditions. Researchers compared the MDS - UPDRS - III improvement scores of tTIS therapy in the "on" and "off" medication phases to see if tTIS could work of independently medication. 1. Visit the clinic once every 1 weeks for therapy and test. 2. Record their symptoms and scores. Parkinson Non applicable Traitement symptomatique China À vérifier
sham iTBSIntermittent theta burst stimulation (iTBS) is an emerging non-invasive neuron regulation technique, which is widely used in neuropsychiatry for a variety of diseases and is widely accepted by patients due to its non-invasive, operable and relatively precise localization. Combining the results of previous studies and our group's previous research, sixty qualified PD patients would be enrolled to conduct a prospective single-center randomized double-blind sham controlled clinical trial to verify the long-term curative effects of iTBS treatment protocol and explore the neuron-protection of iTBS on neuronal loss of PD patients.
