BALANCE-MS — Monitoring Intensity During Balance Training in Persons With Multiple Sclerosis - a Randomized Feasibility StudyBalance training is recommended to improve gait stability and mobility. However, there are currently no clearly defined methods for controlling the intensity (challenge) of balance training. This research project aims to determine whether balance training for individuals with multiple sclerosis (MS), individually tailored to the level of difficulty and exertion, is feasible and possible within an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of two groups: either they will complete group training focusing on strength, endurance, and balance in addition to their regular therapy program, or they will receive individually tailored balance training. Both groups will undergo an initial assessment followed by seven training sessions, each lasting approximately 45-60 minutes. Before discharge, the initial assessments will be repeated. These assessments include completing questionnaires, performing gait tests, balance tests, and a short cognitive test. Interviews will also be conducted with patients and therapists. C-Mill augmented reality treadmill trainingGait disorder is a disabling symptom in Parkinson's disease (PD) affecting all patients during the course. Three methods of treadmill training (TT) will be compared to assess additional augmented reality (AR), or additional dual task (DT). AR TT, DT TT, and TT alone applied over 3 weeks at each day will be compared for their impact on falls, walking, freezing and attention for 3 months in a double blinded randomized controlled trial during regular neurorehabilitation. HIHA — DOES HIPPOTHERAPY HAVE AN EFFECT ON MOBILITY, GAIT, BALANCE AND PERCEIVED HEALTH-RELATED QUALITY OF LIFE IN PERSONS WITH PARKINSON'S DISEASE?The goal of this pilot randomized controlled trial is to investigate the effects of hippotherapy (horse assisted therapy) (intervention group) compared to usual care (control group) on mobility, gait, balance and perceived health-related quality of life in persons with Parkinson's disease. The main objectives of this study are: * The primary objective is to investigate the effects of hippotherapy on mobility of pwPD, walking speed and the ability to perform daily movements. * The secondary objective is to investigate the effects of hippotherapy on (a) balance, (b) self-perceived physical and mental health and (c) specific gait parameters. * Furthermore this study, aims to gather critical information that will inform about the design and implementation of a larger, more definitive randomized controlled trial. In addition to the three-week, multidisciplinary rehabilitation program the intervention group will receive hippotherapy (20 minutes) three times a week (7 sessions in total) and the control group will receive additional physiotherapy sessions (30 minutes) two times a week.
